Colours and effects

Colours are fundamental for the body and the spirit! Colours in our environment induce different moods and are proven to be beneficial for the human body.

Red

Red

Red is the colour of passion, determination, anger, emotions and danger. It incites, excites and stimulates. Red is near infrared in the electromagnetic spectrum, and therefore it is associated with warmth. It has an exciting and stimulating effect, and is used in restaurants in order to liven up the atmosphere and to increase the appetite. Our heart beats faster and the blood circulation intensifies when we are exposed to red light. Due to this latter effect it is also able to treat viral and bacterial infections.

Use: Red light is ideal for the treatment of iron deficiency and anaemia since red blood cells absorb iron, and salt is excreted from the body via the kidneys and the skin. If an infected wound is exposed to red light, the blood supply of the area is intensified and white blood cells can activate more quickly. Since red colour intensifies the blood circulation it is not recommended for the treatment of patients with hypertension, heart problems, asthma or epilepsy. Red light can be used mainly to activate passive body functions: irregular bowel movements, weak muscles, slow blood circulation, anaemia, impotence, frost, contracture, reduced blood supply to toes, energy and heat deficiency, painful menstruation, infertility or constipation.

Red light has a beneficial effect on eczema and all non-inflammatory skin diseases. Red light has a stimulation effect also in the case of anaemia, chronic cough and laryngeal diseases.

Personality: Lovers of red light are usually active, dynamic persons accepting life, while non-lovers of red light are generally passive, unassertive and introverted.

Orange

Orange

Orange is the colour of joy and is strong enough to incite us to free ourselves and move. It functions as a general brightener and results in a change in our biochemical structure that relieves depression. It may help those with severe rheum by removing deposits on the bones. It has an antispasmodic effect, and can really relieve muscular tension and contractions. Treating the spleen with it will increase energy.

Use: Orange can be used before and after operations, in thyroid and other hormone disorders, muscular tenseness, skin diseases, cosmetics or digestion disorders.

As a warm and active colour orange has generally a stimulating effect. It is the most important colour against depression, pessimism and atony. Orange is an excellent means of treatment for loss of appetite and chronic weight loss, and it has a beneficial effect also on certain digestion disorders such as constipation.

This colour activates also the endocrine system, has a definite effect on spleen, and thereby advantageously affects the degradation of blood globules and the lymph circulation. Chronic and acute bronchitis also respond well to orange radiation. It stimulates the immune system as a whole, and thereby activates the self-healing power of the body.

Personality: Dominance of orange in the aura indicates ambitions, openness and a mind of full of projects. Love of orange is characteristic of active, happy and slightly shallow persons, while rejection of orange indicates a personality liable to depression and distemper.

Use: It can be used against decalcification or calcium deficiency as it promotes calcium processing in the body. Since it stimulates cerebral and mental functions it is effective in the treatment of gastric, liver, gall-bladder, pancreatic and spleen diseases. These include digestion disorders, inflation, diaphragmatic hernia, nausea, gastritis, diabetes, menopausal flow, chronic rheum, rheumatoid arthritis, loss of appetite or diseases of the nervous system and phobias.

Yellow stimulates our nervous system and digestive organs, and drives our mood towards optimism. Yellow colour strengthens the stomach, but overusing it may cause sickness or even nausea. It stimulates and strengthens also the functioning of detoxifying organs, i.e. liver, kidneys and bladder. Treatment of certain chronic disorders may become easier with yellow.

Green

Green

Green is the colour of nature, love, dynamism, spring of a new life, fertility, hope and balance. Green is in the middle of the spectrum, and it is associated with harmony and balance. In nature, it is the colour of life; therefore it gives a feeling of fullness, relaxes the blood vessels and stimulates the nerves. It has a relaxing effect on the eyes because the eye focuses green light almost exactly on the retina. As the colour of balance it helps relaxing the mind and the emotions, and has a be beneficial effect on certain heart problems.

Use: Green colour has a good effect on heart and lung diseases. It stimulates the lymphatic glands (has an effect also on thymus), intensifies the growth of muscles and tissues, however, it hinders overgrowth of cells, and therefore it is particularly advantageous against tumours. It stimulates the functioning of the vascular system.

It reduces and sometimes almost entirely eliminates fatigue and exhaustion. It diverts the feeling of dissatisfaction to a good direction. Arthritis and phlebitis become painless in response to green colour, and whooping-cough and bronchitis are relieved. Eye diseases can be quickly and efficiently healed with green light radiation, including also those caused by diabetes. Even cancer may reduce in response to treatment with green colour, and again, naturally, colour therapy is only a supplementation to other methods of treatment. To summarise the above, we can state that green colour is useful where harmony and balance of the body must be restored: the soft and balancing effect of green is very important particularly in extreme conditions.

Personality: Domination of green in the aura indicates satisfaction, balance and inner harmony. Love of green colour is a sign of aspiration for harmony, awakening of self-healing powers, while rejection of it indicates dissatisfaction and unsteadiness.

Blue

Blue

Blue is at the cold end of the spectrum. Emotionally, blue is associated with sadness and depression. Nevertheless, blue stimulates the feeling of peace and tranquillity; therefore it well fits to meditation halls or rooms where persons are relaxing. Blue is the colour of space and using it will make smaller spaces appear larger. Due to this property it has a beneficial effect on asthma. In addition, it is a useful means of treatment of various childhood diseases: teething troubles, bruises, or phonation problems, and helps also in the treatment of pharyngitis, laryngitis, neuralgia, insomnia, headache, hypertension, stress, bronchitis and inflammation of the bladder.

Use: This cool colour has a relaxing effect in all excitation situations. If we are nervous and cannot sleep blue colour may offer relaxation and relief. Hypophysis (pituitary gland) and all endocrine glands very beneficially respond to blue. Treatment with blue helps also in purulent conditions: pus absorbs, and the normal temperature of the tissues quickly restores. One of the civilisation diseases, hypertension can be healed or even normalised with blue radiation.

Everybody has already experienced contraction characteristic of stress. The antispasmodic effect of blue is accompanied by relaxation of the mind. In addition, blue is efficiently used also in the treatment of menopausal disorders. Hyperthyrosis, growth of struma or goitre can be also hindered with this colour, and these processes can be even reverted with a consistent treatment. Unpleasant and painful pharyngitis very quickly responds to blue treatment. This cool and sterile colour has a good effect also on emerods. It reduces the appetite of obese patients, and therefore it efficiently promotes weight losing diet.

Personality: Domination of blue colour in the aura indicates sensitivity, very good ability to make connections and good learning abilities. Lovers of blue are mostly balanced and nice social people, while those rejecting blue are characterised by inner unrest.

Indigo blue/lilac

Indigo blue/lilac

Indigo blue is the colour of discipline, confidence and efficiency. Among the colours of the spectrum, lilac has the shortest wavelength while it has the greatest energy. Lilac colour has a healing effect via physical and spiritual strengthening, which is explained by the fact that lilac teaches us acceptance and dignity. This is how it leads us to unconditional love, protects us against negative energies, develops the imagination and creativeness. It makes us inventive, improves intuitions and empathy.

Use: Since lilac is the mixture of red and blue colours it both relaxes and stimulates, therefore it is definitely useful in the case of bad moods or emotional disturbances. In addition, lilac has antiphlogistic and memory improving effects; it helps in fighting hypertension, insomnia and inflammatory processes. Lilac has some sort of harmonising effect on relationships; it helps harmonisation of male and female energies, which has a beneficial effect on relationships. Wearing lilac provides the look of dignity. It relieves headache and fever as it is antiphlogistic. It helps in memory improvement, and fighting hypertension and insomnia. Lilac is recommended also for freckled skins full of oxidation spots and oily spots. It is a particularly intensive healing colour but its use is not recommended for children.

Personality: Lovers of lilac demand development and changes; however, they are controlled by their intuitions. Moderateness and self-harmony are their main strengths. Those rejecting lilac suffer pains in their lives, fear from changes and are resistant.

White

White

White is the symbol of light, cleanness, indifferentism, perfectness and simplicity. White is closely associated with death and relating ritual objects (such as winding-sheet or candles). White colour symbolises spirits and ghosts. Non-lovers of white colour surely have problems with the acceptance of changes, fate and death. White is the colour of peace and hope, self-control, recollection and transcendence. It inhibits free thoughts, and therefore it is worth avoiding too much white. It promotes the healthy functioning of the cerebral cortex, the pituitary gland, the skull and eyes via the crown chakra.

Use: White colour has a universal effect in healing, and can be used anywhere and at any time from the relief of inflammations to the stimulation of the functioning of organs. This is evident if we know that white light contains, in fact, all colours of the spectrum, and therefore white has the highest number of vibrations (black has the lowest number of vibrations). Consequently, all diseases are “below” white colour depending on their severity, as they represent lower level of vibrations. This is why the silicon containing white rock-crystal occurring also in nature has been known to be used for healing for thousands of years.

Personality: It indicates a pure, innocent, romantic and naive personality who tries to achieve harmony and inner peace.

It has been long known that very favourable effects can be induced in our body and its self-healing processes can be stimulated with light beams of certain wavelengths. In general, we can state that when polarized light therapy is used the visible light induces energy by rearranging the lipid double layer of the cell membrane, by means of which all cell activity related processes can be affected in fact.

The magic 7

A bűvös 7-es

Sunlight appears as a white light for us, but in fact it is a combination of all visible colours. Rainbow consists of 7 colours since the prism of the rain drops breaks the white light and tranmits it in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet colours.

There are 7 major energy centres, chakras in the human body.

Due to its highly sophisticated light mixing technology, the Cryxon lamp is able to create and emit the energy field colours of the human body, offering 7 options of colour therapy: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, lilac and white light beams promote the treatment of the energy fields of the body. During treatment of the chakras with the crystal lamp, our body is filled with energy, intensifying our vitality. We become both physically and mentally stronger, we can fight diseases better caused by everyday stress, and become more resistant to infections.

Our chakras are situated along the spine above each other, following the rainbow colours. They are associated with different parts of the body and endocrine glands, and therefore their balanced functioning contributes to a healthy and perfect life.
